Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Colombo → Kandy
Travel Time: Approx. 3.5 hours from Colombo to Kandy. Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Transfer to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, known for its beautiful temples and scenic views. Explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred Buddhist site, and enjoy the cultural performances in the evening.
Kandy – Cultural and Natural Wonders
Travel Time: No long travel today, short trips within Kandy (approx. 15-30 mins per visit). Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, home to over 4,000 species of plants, including orchids and palms. Explore Kandy Lake and stroll through the vibrant Pettah Market. Visit the Kandy Museum for a glimpse of the city’s rich history. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Kandy → Matale → Nuwara Eliya

Hatton → Ella – Scenic Train Ride

Yala → Galle

Galle → Colombo → Departure
