Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival in Colombo → Mirissa
Travel Time: Approx. 2.5 hours from Colombo to Mirissa. Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo. Private transfer to Mirissa, a beach town known for its surf breaks and beach activities. Explore: Spend the afternoon chilling on Mirissa Beach, enjoying the crystal-clear water and laid-back vibe. Evening: Head to a beachside café for drinks, unwind, and meet fellow travelers.
Mirissa – Surfing & Beach Sports
Travel Time: No travel today, surfing and beach activities. Morning: Take your first surfing lesson at Mirissa Beach, known for its perfect beginner and intermediate waves. Learn the basics and ride your first wave with a professional instructor. Afternoon: After your surfing lesson, relax on the beach or participate in a beach volleyball match with fellow adventurers. Evening: Enjoy a relaxed evening with a sunset cocktail at one of Mirissa’s famous beach bars.
Mirissa → Weligama – Surfing & Water Sports
Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes from Mirissa to Weligama. Travel to Weligama, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular surf spots. Morning: Take another surfing lesson in Weligama, where you’ll find gentle waves perfect for practicing your skills. Afternoon: Take part in kite surfing lessons (for beginners) at Weligama Beach or try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Evening: Explore Weligama’s beach clubs or enjoy a bonfire on the beach with music.
Weligama → Bentota – Jet Skiing & Water Sports
Travel Time: Approx. 1.5 hours from Weligama to Bentota. Travel to Bentota, a popular destination for water sports and adventure. Morning: Get your adrenaline pumping with a jet ski ride along the Bentota River, followed by a banana boat ride. Afternoon: Try windsurfing or water skiing on Bentota’s calm waters, or enjoy more jet skiing. Evening: Relax at a beachside restaurant in Bentota with a cool drink, and enjoy the evening by the water.
Bentota – Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
Travel Time: No travel today, scuba diving and snorkeling. Morning: Head out for an exciting scuba diving experience at Bentota’s coral reefs. If you're not certified, you can try introductory dives with an instructor. Afternoon: Explore the underwater world with a snorkeling trip to discover marine life, including tropical fish, corals, and sea turtles. Evening: Enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Bentota River, followed by a beachside dinner.
Bentota → Colombo – Departure
Travel Time: Approx. 2 hours from Bentota to Colombo. Morning: Enjoy a relaxing morning at Bentota Beach, or indulge in more water sports activities like kayaking or kite surfing. Afternoon: Transfer back to Colombo for your departure.
